How periodontal disease rise

Periodontitis (also parodontosis) is the customary term for infectious diseases, the correct name „periodontitis“.

This disease is caused by anaerobic bacteria which multiply beneath the surface of the mounting gums. The so-called plaque, or tartar, is a fertile ground for the bacteria, which helps them to dramatically multiply in an enclosed space between the tooth and gum.

Dental plaque bacteria may therefore with poor dental hygiene intervene until the grooves in the gums. This creates pockets in which bacteria multiply indefinitely and develop the inflammation.
